Dakota Johnson Has No Shame in '50 Shades of Grey'
There are no limits to what Dakota Johnson will do as Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades of Grey! 24 year old Dakota Johnson is definitely not the average looking 50 Shades ingenue on the March 2014 cover of Elle, and she is dishing to the mag that her inhibitions are the reason why she was the perfect actress to play Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey. In the best selling novel, Anatasia Steele's character makes the big leap from being the introverted, highly insecure and sexually inexperienced college student to being the passionate and sexual muse of the very handsome and successful CEO, Christian Grey. On why she thinks she was the one to land the role of Anatasia, Johnson said quote "I dont have a problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame." You better go girl! Very naughty, right? But Dakota also wanted to be clear that it's not the sex scenes that peaked her interest in the movie. She said that she really was more interested in the mind games that the two characters played with each other in the book, and how Christian and Anatasia were breaking each other down emotionally saying "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down." In her family, Johnson is a third generation Hollywood actress (Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson are her parents) and she says that it wasn't easy growing up in the spotlight because the press single out and pick on famous people's children. She said that it was actually sad sometimes because people would make up stories about her, and there was nothing that anyone can do to stop it. In her words she called the experience quote "fucking awful." But, even though it was challenging back then there are now a few perks to being in the spotlight.
